After a visit to my local electronics store today I noticed they do not explain what happened on television today. Naturally everyone is buying a flat screen TV because there is no tomorrow, but do not know what they are buying. Well, I’m here to explain what is in high definition (HD) really means and how about you.

Well let me start by saying that all flat panel televisions are high definition, contrary to popular belief. On television, the European Union should have a sticker on the box to confirm that HD ready HDTVs. But to complicate matters further, there are four different resolutions.
